Comef updates its SOA certification; for the categories OG 9 (electric energy production plants) and OS 14 (waste disposal and recovery plants), Comef obtains VIII ranking, that is the maximum ranking foreseen.

The SOA Qualification is the Certification that proves the Company’s ability to compete in works contracts issued by Public Administrations; it is issued by specific Certification Bodies and demonstrates the possession of the requisites necessary to be able to contract with the Public Administration for works contracts divided into categories and amount rankings.

There are fifty-two categories of works:

• 13 categories concern works of a general nature
• 39 categories concern specialized works

There are ten rankings of amount:

• 1st ranking, up to 258,000 euros
• 2nd ranking, up to 516,000 euros
• III classification, up to € 1,033,000
• III bis classification, up to 1,500,000 euros
• 4th ranking, up to 2,582,000 euros
• IV bis ranking, up to € 3,500,000
• 5th ranking, up to € 5,165,000
• 6th ranking, up to € 10,329,000
• VII ranking, up to € 15,494,000
• VIII ranking, over € 15,494,000
